libjs-validator software package provides Javascript string validation and sanitization for browsers, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libjs-validator
libjs-validator is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libjs-validator package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libjs-validator *
You will get with libjs-validator package name, version, architecture and description in a table
